Our history is yours since 1983. We collect, conserve, catalogue, research, display and interpret the history of the Cowichan Lake area. Our gift shop sells local history books and Canadian books, historical maps, pins, postcards, magnets, toys and much more.
Free admission but donations are gratefully accepted.

CWAV Society provides a range of programs designed to assist women in their response to physical, emotional or sexualized abuse and/ or violence from a current or past partner, family member or acquaintance. We also work to increase awareness, educate, and prevent abuse or violence, and work to promote community safety through many strategies.

The Kaatza Lakeside Players focus is to broaden the opportunities for residents of the Cowichan Lake District to enjoy and participate in learning theatre arts.


Meetings are the 3rd Monday every month @ 7pm at the Lake Cowichan Seniors Centre.

We are a non-profit society; providing programs and facilities to the people of the Cowichan Lake area. Our mission is to enhance and support the quality of life for Cowichan Lake are residents. We will strive to do this through education, prevention, recreation, counselling and support groups. It is also our aim to work together with other service agencies in an integrated approach.
