Lake Cowichan First Nation (Ts’uubaa-asatx) men and women are skilled canoeists who are excited to share their traditional knowledge and history with visitors. After a millennia of living on the shores of Cowichan Lake (Kaatza), there are plentiful stories on the experiences and resources from their traditional territory.
Our waterfront location allows paddlers instant access to the waters of Cowichan Lake. A short paddle along the shore of the lake exposes you to the natural, rich marine life. When arriving back from one of our tours, relax and enjoy the view of the beautiful lake and mountain views while at the Ts’uubaa-asatx Cafe next door.
