Carmanah-Walbran Provincial Park
Located on the west coast of Vancouver Island and spanning 16,450 hectares, the park protects one of the few remaining easily accessible old-growth forests. Park facilities are located in the Lower Carmanah Valley with a campground providing tent pads, tables and fire rings. The most scenic views in the park are reached only by hiking trails. Cowichan River Provincial Park
A 750 hectare protected area stretching from Lake Cowichan to the south of Duncan. A historic 20 km hiking trail runs long the south side of the Cowichan river. There are also opportunities for camping, fishing, paddling, swimming and many other recreational activities. There are several exitsoff of highway 18 to this park. More Information... Gordon Bay Provincial Park
A 49 hectare park and campground. Found just west of Lake Cowichan on the south arm of Cowichan Lake, the park also provides a boat launch, hiking trails and fishing. It is open year- round. More Information... BC Parks Information...
