Communities in Boom event starts after the parade Kids Hanging Basket Planting
Hot Dog Sale Children are an important part of the Daffy Daze festival. They are invited to join members of Communities in Bloom to help with planting hanging baskets that will be sold during Heritage Days in May. Planting will take place on Saturday Saywell Park and there will be a hot dog sale.

Join Cowichan Lake's mascots in this years Children's Parade. Marshalling at Village Market. Parade starts at 11:30 am, Rain or shine. Parade ends @ Saywell park with treats for all parade participants. Prizes: Best Decorated Umbrella, Best Teddy Bear, Best decorated bike, best Decorated Scooter

All are welcome to bid on items displayed at the Seniors Center. Place your bid on a list, return later to check if someone had placed a higher bid.... Challenge someone to a bidding battle... Winners will be announced on the 13th at
a random time. Proceeds go to the Cancer Duncan Branch Volunteer Drivers Program.

Book sale held in their foyer with profits for promotion of daffy daze. Donated books may be dropped off at the bank for this sale. Note Proceeds from this sale and Village Market receipts are the only funding that Daffy Daze uses.
