The focus at Beaver Lake Resort / Campground is to provide families and seniors with a camping experience that will make them want to return again and again. Want a private treed camping site or a wilderness tent site? We have them here as well. Maybe you would rather not rough it, then perhaps you would be interested in our fully self contained, modern lake front cabin. We pride ourselves in having clean washrooms, with flush toilets and hot showers, a coin laundry and if you need a treat, we even have a small store waiting for you. The recreation opportunities are endless and our summer guest programs provide FUN AND ADVENTURE for those that wish to participate. CWAV Society provides a range of programs designed to assist women in their response to physical, emotional or sexualized abuse and/ or violence from a current or past partner, family member or acquaintance. We also work to increase awareness, educate, and prevent abuse or violence, and work to promote community safety through many strategies.
Lake Cowichan First Nation (Ts’uubaa-asatx) men and women are skilled canoeists who are excited to share their traditional knowledge and history with visitors. After a millennia of living on the shores of Cowichan Lake (Kaatza), there are plentiful stories on the experiences and resources from their traditional territory.
Our waterfront location allows paddlers instant access to the waters of Cowichan Lake. A short paddle along the shore of the lake exposes you to the natural, rich marine life. When arriving back from one of our tours, relax and enjoy the view of the beautiful lake and mountain views while at the Ts’uubaa-asatx Cafe next door.
