The BC Chamber of Commerce has developed a landing page that features the latest updates and links to provincial and federal relief initiatives for both businesses and workers. This includes, but is not limited to, information on Access to Capital, Taxation Relief for Businesses, Wage Subsidy Programs, Employment Insurance & Emergency Benefits for Workers and B2B Support from Private and Crown Corporations (BC Hydro, Fortis BC, etc.).
BCEDA has developed a #COVID19 Resources for BC Businesses Guide. This is a live, shareable guide that is being continually updated with the most relevant information, tools and resources for the BC business community. Especially helpful, these tools and resources are broken down by industries or sectors, and the document also contains other key information and updates.
SBBC has also developed a COVID19 Resource page, which includes a range of support tools including. We recommend joining their Digital Meet-Up, a video call group for the small business community during COVID-19 to help share challenges and solutions. They also have resources for Creating a Crisis Plan, which includes a downloadable Business Continuity & COVID19 Small Business Checklist that small businesses can use to help minimize the impacts of COVID19 on their employees and operations.
